When I moved down here from Price George 8 years ago, I was appalled at all the gates across access roads into the backwoods. It this some kind of Island policy? The Island Ranger group has key and electronic access to most of the gates on the island. Maybe VI off road needs to work out a similar policy with the forest companies and the government.
This is at the top of Roaring Creek, east of Mount Joan. A nice drive up Cook Creek Road.
