We had an awesome run today. Got to go out with some friends who know the area quite well, so we covered a lot of ground. What an excellent area, so accessible and close enough to home. Got a quick meet with Rob, Rich and Jess out there though we weren't hitting trails together. Nice to put a face to the name
I've been wanting to go to Bamfield for years, and am actually in the early stages of planning a 2 week trip all over the island with my wife in June. Bamfield is on that list for sure.
For a trip in perhaps March or April, the only long weekend is Easter. Works for me, but maybe not for everybody. If we do a regular weekend we'd end up fairly tight for time if we're a couple hours into the bush, or only get one night out! I've been to Tuck lake a couple times and its good, but doesn't have very big camping areas. I've never been to Francis lake but it sounds pretty good from what I hear

I'm meeting some friends behind the chevron Sunday at 10, seems like this'll be a good trip. See you guys out there
Looks good! Now to get it all dirty
I'll be on sicker as well on sunday with a friend, exploring all over and seeing what we can find. Hopefully we bump into you guys at some point!
