P.s Driveway wrenching photos make me miss my old place. I gotta rent a nice house again and get me some space! Nothing beats beers and tools on a sunny day
you have patience, after axles breaking like that. I would have just went one tons. I know that day will happen for me and ill just have to cave and buy a dana60 to replace the 44 and a 14 ff to replace the semi floating rear i have. But having 1500-2000 to drop on axles isnt the easiest thing. I know nothing about jeeps really, just had friends who wheeled them with me, what size front axle are they running? I know in the chevy world we have 10 bolt front differentials which are basically exact to a d44 and a 10 bolt rear axle as well. ( biggest POS ever for the rear ) but after 35s they tend to break pretty easy if you giver some jam on the trails.
Thing looks nice though! And seems to have fun! Maybe ill see ya out there sometime!
Ok awesome. I dont mind scratches... I wheeled with jeeps back in ontario, and i got used to it after the first few. I have some slings and shackles if needed. ( perks of being a crane operator :)! Im also DD ing my rig right now until im settled and can find another square body daily driver.
same axle shaft thickness also, or just the housings the same?
looks good man! nothing better than fresh new parts... its so addicting
