the regulator is just spring loaded check valve, i didn't replace the whole unit, just replaced the pump and fuel filter in the tank and then the regulator.
I'm thinking I'm going to have to drop the tank again, and pull the pump assembly out and attach the fuel line and see if there is fuel returning when the pump is on, the 50 psi of pressure drops off in seconds... getting tiered of all this cranking,
have to say though, jeep put some dam fine starters in these things!
Thanks buddy, new jeep parts are crazy expensive! will try malahat auto, he charges like a wounded bull i take it?
I love my TJ, suspension really soaks up the bumps on those rough trails, although there is a little body roll feeling when cornering, its not bad though. Test drove a 2.5 yj..it was hideously underpowered, put me right off the smaller 4cylinder. oh and driving topless is great!
haha ,this one i got from victoria, not sure where it came from before me.I think it may have sat for a while, when i started using it as a daily all the rust started to fall out
yea slowly getting her fixed up, the previous owner completely neglected the poor jeep, so now its up to me to deal with all the issues.
i think it sat for a while because when i started driving it ,after a little while all the rust in the front fenders and the body mounts started falling out! changed the tub which sorted the body mounts, now it looks crappy with its big rust holes in the front, and its blue, red and black paint job. but hey its all good fun!
