Part of the road was freshly graded about a month or two ago when I was last on forebay, and I think I passed some fresh logging, but I dont remember for sure.
It's easily do able on an adventure motorcycle. People drive honda civics and mini vans on these main logging roads all the time. Just a heads up that they are logging near McClure lake, on walbran main, and on bugaboo.
I drove from port alberni to the walbran valley on these roads this past Sunday.

It's probably too late of a notice, but I'm heading to the bamfield area to explore and camp, from tomorrow till Wednesday or Thursday.
I went to haida gwaii last summer and it was magical. They are not allowing visitors at this current point in time, but I expect that to change soon.
Chytwynd and the peace river district is really pretty. As soon as you go into dawson creek or fort st john you feel like you're in Alberta though.
