What are you doing this weekend? I'm in Duncan and can show you some local areas if you're into it. The best views that I've found are down past cowichan lake, up the mountains.
I'm down . My buddy knows a girl with a first gen 4runner she might also be interested. Let me know what day you wanna go .
Either day works for me. There's also some decent wheeling right around here - back side of mt sicker. Not really great views or anything but it might be better for a day trip. I'm thinking most of the higher altitude runs are going to be a bit far for a day trip, and likely snowed out this time of year.
my buddy Joe and I are tentatively down to go out Saturday, he lives in LC and I am in Duncan. where ever we wanna go really.
Sat works for me. We could all meet up in Duncan and just wing it from there?

I'd say any time between 10am-noon would be good. What works best for you guys?
Here is a good spot to meet. It's right at the start of the nearby wheeling if we choose to go that way, or we can carry on towards Cowichan lake to get into the mountains.

It will have to be next time. A bunch of us are going into Boomerang Lake near Nanaimo today. Meeting up at the Motocross track at 11 AM. Your trip and there's both sounded great, I just committed to that run first. Stay safe.
