reinhart lake n the the start of the chemainus river. as well as maybe as far as sherik lake. which over looks lake cow.
I'm gonna get out a bit later in the day but I'd be down for camping at sherk or reinhart. There's also another lake just west of reinhart which I tried to get to last year but it was snowed out, might be worth checking out. If you're still in the hillcrest area tomorrow afternoon let's meet up and bomb out there.
im bringing my campin gear. i dont know whos all in but theres two trucks for sure in the am and a couple more around 4pm. im looking for fun trails and gauging them for difficulty.
reinhardt is the pass to the back of and nanaimos water supply. jump lake. i haven't seen it since i was a kid.
chemainus river is all bought up. fishing license to get past the gate. hill 60 is all open. can access from hillcrest at the powerlines. the mail line is chemanius at the end. they workin and dont want trespassers. mt brenton is in there. its an absolute no fire zone. all the upper chemainus river is. got hassled 3 times in 2 days out that way. trails were not very difficult. one spot needed 4x4 and lots of wash ditches is old hillcrest rd.
forestry pools are still open.
reinhart was open to fishing. all gates block at this point.
