Hey everyone I'm up for a run this long weekend what ever day works for everyone else it'll be my first time with the site should be fun looking forward to it
If you put in Hillcrest rd in Google maps it'll show you. It's off cowichan valley high way. There is an area cleared on the right hand of the road to meet up.
Is this area okay with a stock jeep? thank you for the footage and last question, once you get going can you turn around if you don't want to be gone for 4 to 6 hrs? I would like to join the next one
What kind of Jeep do you have? I'd say the run (depending where you go) is stock friendly. I have done parts of hill 60 in my 2013 Ford Escape, non lifted and lifted Jeep Grand Cherokee. You can always turn back but you have to know the way out. I'd usually budget 4-6 hours for a typical hill 60 run. Just never know where you might end up.
Yeah this area is good for stock, I've been out a few times now with my 19 jlu sport, after installing an aftermarket bumper and winch needed a lift. I've also been using the stock bridgestone dueler h/t tires, think you may be good.
It's good for stock but sometimes shit happens, pinstriping is a way of life....dont want it dont go, keep it as a mall crawler.
You might kiss a fender or a bumper eh Dave.
Shit does happen, as long as everyone knows and your good with it. Dont FTFO.....
Enjoy and have fun!
So true, the first few (maybe 20) scratches make you go cringe, after that realize people actually pay money to get pin striping done on their vehicles. know why you bought it and use it.
I could possibly be down for something if I'm back in town, will be up island until friday at least so maybe Sat or Sun?
Doesn't bother me any, Sunday 9ish would probably be good

I own a jeep wrangler. thank you Moose for the info, I will wait for a group to go as I won't venture there alone
Tks Dave_g, I will check it out one day and wait for group with stock jeep to meet up!
