Hey hey! We wanna play! Tinyhousearmytruck.com Just a couple of hippies kickin it in an old army truck. On the island untill spring(comox area) then heading to Tuktoyuktuk! Havent seen any elephants like us... can we be the only ones here?! CHEERS!!
Hey Fx4, I've driven this beast all the way from Newfoundland since Canada Day. Already explored plenty of forest roads here on the island.... looking to connect with other big beasts like mine.
Check our blog at tinyhousearmytruck.com , one of our first blogs "look at us now" I believe. There is also "the build" which you may find interesting. Since they are already up on the interwebs (in good quality), I'm not going to spend the data to re-upload. Cheers eh!
Your rig looks awesome. I've been living out of my truck as well with my gf and dog overlanding around the continent until just recently and your truck looks like a palace relative to how we've been living! We also did some exploring around the north island and there is lots to find up there. Lots of cool caves and great places to camp off grid. Anyway welcome to the site and enjoy your travels!
The island isn't really suited for over landing, unless you just want to drive main logging roads that a dodge caravan can handle.
You can still get to some sweet spots to camp and explore though.

I'm pretty jealous. That is a gorgeous rig. Can you post pics of the inside?
