Bought a high clearance rear bumper kit from coastal offroad and spent a couple evenings putting it together with my good buddy Nate. After lots of tacking and fitting and bashing and adjusting, followed by a bunch of welding we have the beast complete. Still need to grind down the welds and give it a paint job, but the kit was good to work with. It came with good instructions and the pieces were all nicely cut. I'd say it would be a good project even for a first-timer, as long as you take your time, tack lightly and go step by step. Couple of photos of the work in progress, I'll probably get to grinding and painting on Saturday, then I'll post up a couple more.
Looks good, nicely done.
Plenty of grinding and a coat of paint, this sucker is ready for some smashing!
Yep, looks great. Bumper and sliders in one.
