For sale is a 2010 Custom Ford Ranger used lightly during the week as a cable install work truck that required to pass annual commercial safety inspection.
Bought in Nanaimo at 47,000km from the first owner, the vehicle now has 104,000km.
The vehicle had only two low km collisions.
On weekends the custom Yukon 4.56 gear installed with a limited slip was great for getting out on family camp trips. The truck sits on 33 inch tires with a 3 inch body lift. A decision was made to keep the original spindles so not to impact the ride and geometry. This vehicle was never abused or off-roaded since I needed it as a work truck during workdays.
Thus far I've had the following done:
In 2015, the lift kit carefully prepared and installed from parts supplied from IWE Rear ends only which includes
8.8 ford bearing kit
4.56 Yukon Gears
28 Spline Limited Slip Differential.
Transmission fluid changed at install
Goodyear Tires bought from Canadian Tire and steel rims from Northshore off-road in 2014
most oil changes done at Mr lube on terminal roughly every 5000km with receipts. Fuel filter change done in 2014 as well as 4 system fuel system service
All major annual inspection and maintenance work such as brakes (except custom lift) done at Autopro on Bowen in 2014
MAF sensor replaced by Autopro in 2016
Three great accessories are included:
A 2 bike capacity bike rack which allows you to still access the tail gate
Also, a custom truck hitch toolbox that can sit flush with the tailgate
Finally, a ladder rack that can be attached to the existing mounting points, making it easy to remove.
This truck is in excellent mechanical condition, is well loved, and had a LOT of time and effort in to building it in to what it is today. Due to a career change I needed a sedan that can carry my teens.
