hi there, looking at the Back Road Map book, I noticed a road named Old Port Renfrew Road. I think it turns into a logging road eventually. how far can it be driven before you hit a timber west gate?
Havent been out there in awhile, but there are quite a few trails out in the area. if you start off of renfrew rd and turn onto the logging road just past isabelle pl ( check google maps, heading west at the northwest part of the lake) youll be able to explore some stuff in there. Youve got way more in cowichan though
Post a trail run if you want, some other people may want to check out. Mt sicker got logged so quite a few places there are gone but still a few places to go. Hill 60 as said is fun and good to go!
It turns into Kapoor main and the gate is pretty much always closed now

Hill 60 area is a good one , also if you go on hillcrest road you can find lots of cool trails in that area

Head to cowichan lake from duncan, turnoff is on your right hand side before cowichan valley hwy meets cowichan lake road
