Hey, I’m new to the forum. Just bought a 99 4Runner and wanting to do some exploring! Does anyone know of some good trails the head to a lake for some fishing? I have a stock runner but looking for something a bit more challenging then a logging road. I live in Campbell river but don’t mind doing some travelling, maybe an hour or two north or south.
Hey welcome to the forum. A stock 4Runner will get you further than you would think - they're surprisingly capable. I don't know that end of the Island that well but I'd just get out there and start mapping the trails. You're surrounded by awesome mountains and lakes (much moreso than the south island), so it shouldn't be hard to find some awesome spots! Maybe someone else local to that area will chime in with some suggestions too.
