Hi Everyone!
I'm new here and in need of some help and information.
I'm looking for some ideas for a three day ramble to explore some Island backroads. I've never explored the island like this and would live to find some great, scenic places to drive, camp and maybe do a little hiking. If I end up by the ocean even better!
Any information or advice would be very greatly appreciated!
What are you driving? Are you looking for campsites or bush camping? For a multi day trip you might want to check out some of the north island - tons of areas to explore up there. Best bet is to get on google earth and do some virtual exploring - find a few remote or cool looking areas, and then see if you can get there. That's where the best adventure is found.
