Too busy wrenching to be pressing any keys ;)
...Starting a project and can't wait till it's done!... Finally getting some ambition and she's gonna be a little bigger and a little badder!
Im so close I can almost taste the mud hanging in the air, all I need to do is go over the rear end adjust the pinion angle and swap out a third. too bad I'm working full time now. Im actually waitingf till im on afternoons again and I will rock out on the heep.
Got my front locker, sway bay disconnects, and winch bumper installed... started collecting sye parts. but back to work for a couple weeks now. hopefully I can meet up next set out and thrash..
its cause no one wants to just start an argument for the sake of argument. that and Im sure were all busy getting our shit rolling for the summer!
I'm waiting on papers from my brother in law for this tub, and a little work, might have to rebuild all four brakes, calipers up front, and a complete rebuild in the rear but they work alright for now. haven't had the Heep fast enough to test the brakes at speed on account of the drive line wobble I'm hammering out next week hopefully.
only other thing I can think that I need to do is hook the b pillar roll bar into the frame with some ingenuity and fab time. I was looking at other peoples ideas for rock sliders and I think I found what I was looking for.... but rather than weld to the frame, I intend on sandwiching thew frame with two pieces of plate instead, it will be tighter in mine than in the pics as i dont have any body lift.
Yup I ended up going out a few times and breaking a front cv shaft so I'm using the time to do a few extra things before I head out again. Tis the season for building
It has been too damn quiet.....everyone busy with spring and not wheeling???
I am trying to find a trailer so I can venture further on island without teasing the cops and risking a VI.
