Potential scam on Used Victoria

Hi everyone,

I was looking on Used Victoria yesterday and saw a 2002 Jeep wrangler for sale. I asked some questions about the vehicle and promptly forgot about it.

This morning I got the following email from Used.ca warning me that they thought it may be a scam and that they had deleted the ad:

"Hi,
We have reason to believe that ad number 33672934 is a fraudulent ad.
We can see that you have responded with interest to this ad. If you receive a message asking you to send money, please ignore it and cease all communication. If the seller agrees to meet in person, then likely we are mistaken and this ad is credible.
Please note that Used.ca will never advise you to send money without seeing the item in person. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email us, we are here to help protect you as you buy and sell via our site.
Thank you for choosing Used.ca."

This afternoon I got an email from the "seller' of the vehicle saying that she was selling it on ebay and invited me to contact her:

"Hi, my name is Amelia and I'm happy to see you are interested in my 2002 Jeep Wrangler which is in perfect condition, with no scratches on it, always garaged, everything about this vehicle functions perfectly. My final price is $2,400 including shipping to your address.The reason why I selling it, is because my husband passed away 5 month ago and this vehicle brings me bad memories and I need the money to pay my son's college is sort time.We also recently moved to my parents in Manitoba trying to start a new life.I decided to make this transaction through eBay.I believe this protects both buyer and seller and it's the right way to do this.I will wait your answer (if you are interested to buy) very soon and I will also explain you all terms for this transaction.

I don't know if this is a scam or not, but better safe than sorry so I thought i'd just warn everyone.
