My name is Payton and I moved to Vancouver Island pretty recently I’m eager to make some friends and find some trails.
I’ve got a 2001 4runner that I’ve just lifted, 5speed swapped, e locker swapped and I’m eager to see what my rig can do. I’ve had it down some pretty tight quad trails so I’m open to some more challenging trails.
I’ve also started a family this year and would like to know if some easy ish trails to nice views, lakes or thick forests to pick mushrooms or have a cup of tea by a campfire.
I’m also an amateur geologist, and am eager to learn more about the cave systems on VI and hunting for treasures.
I’ve got climbing gear, brand new ropes, harnesses and QuickDraws if anyone is interested in climbing.
Trails to old mine sites or really any old piece of history is always a welcome adventure.
I’m located in Courtenay but will travel wherever for the adventure however Some easier trails close to home would be awesome for day trips with the family.
I’ve also got a dirtbike for trails too small to fit the 4runner so If you know of any trails for that they are also welcome! PMs are welcome
