The 'Nicola Valley Fish & Game Club' took on the 'Douglas Lake Cattle Company' in BC Supreme Court, Kamloops.
Maybe a few folks have been following this precedent setting court case.
The decision in this case brings up some interesting questions . . .
There is/are Forest Service Roads (FSR) behind locked company gates.
Banon Creek FSR, Tyee FSR, Mt. Brenton FSR, etc., etc.
Island TimberLands has a workable policy concerning logging road travel. Copper Canyon and Shawnigan Division are
perfect examples of this.
TimberWest, on the other hand, has implemented an un-workable policy concerning public access to public roads/land within their holdings.
Any thoughts on this . . . ?
Happy with the status quo . . . ?
