Hey,
I am new to the forum, I have done a bit of exploration around the south island and the mid-island (pretty confident I know the "secret" waterfall from one of the other posts) but I have two weeks off at the end of August and I am planning to head up the north end and take some time to explore.
Big fan of backcountry camping and the need to preserve locations, so any recommendations sent via private message will be held close.
Would love to hear from anyone about must do's or cautionary tales. Planning on as far west and north as Cape Scott.
