Saturday cruised around lake Cowichan and up a few off beat trails was awesome! There are a lot of great trails with no gates on south side of the lake well past where the pavement ends... I will be spending time out there as there is so much to explore there for every level of wheeler. Cheers all.
Awesome! I haven't been that way, have always stuck to the north side for some reason (and Skutz) but will have to check it out.
David : my wife and i are new to the area and that sounds like a great place for us to start ... any chance you could pin drop the location as to where you started.
thanks in advance
Good morning, north side is nice the only draw back is alotta gates on north side and seems to be a bit of traffic. When I got to south side there were gates but not as many and seemed like there were more trails with no gates at all on the main road of south side seen 2 other vehicles on the trails on north side seen no one. Definitely recommend north side. This coming weekend I am going back up there. You’re always invited ... at this point a lot of exploration. Cheers my friend
