If you guys plan on going through to porters from hill 60 beware; I heard there is a decent tree down on the trail. Apparently someone started cutting it but gave up. I’d also like to add that I’d like to join, but I’m getting sliders fabed up this weekend. Enjoy and take pictures!
Don't think I can make it unfortunately, but I'm sure those tires will make a huge difference man! Good buy.
I can afford new tires yet but I’m up for a hill 60 run 😂
I might be able to come along should know by the middle of the week.
Sounds good, do you know the area very well?
Been out in the cowichan area a few times but havnt actually been up hill 60 yet, I'm good with wherever.
If I find a front diff by then I might be able to!
Everyone good to meet up at 9am at the hill 60 turn off?
Damn, I'd like to test my new tires too but unfortunately I need a new engine so I'm out for awhile....

I'll pm
How many people we got so far? My buddy (FJ cruisers) and myself (Rubicon) thinking of doing this thing before summer ends for 2020 :)
if you're new to the forum, we did the hill 60 run a few months ago (i think it was a pretty big turnout) (https://www.vioffroad.com/forum/trail-runs/let%E2%80%99s-get-something-t...) and it was a blast
if you don't know the meeting place for the co-ordinates just let us know and one of the members will pm you a link
I spoke with my friend and we will be there 9am :)
Cool, should be a good turn out tomorrow.
Sounds good should be there.. I've driven past the turnoff for hill 60 a few times assuming we are just meeting there?
Hey Justin, it's right after the highway goes down to one lane as you get closer to Lake Cowichan. It's got a brown sign there in the trees.
Have a good time everyone.
And for the record, you can wheel year round out here, just be prepared for a little more mud than usual!
