Sunday April 26/20, 10:00 am Hill 60
A few of us are meeting at Hill 60 for Social Distancing compliant trail run. Anyone who feels like stretching their legs and burning some fuel, come on out!
There seems to be a few new people ( I am one of them) and seasoned veterans here that are keen to get out and see this Islands beautiful back country as well as meet others in the 4x4 community!
Rob (CJ-8) had a great suggestion about making this a thread. Top shelf idea!
Looking forward to meeting some of you!
Social distancing respected of course.
Cheers,
Adrian
I’ll be there!
Awesome!
Awesome, I'll be coming out
Perfect!
Anyone leaving from vic that wants to convoy out to hill 60 tomorrow morning?
Not to hijack the thread, from what i can see those rims are dope, what make are they?
Thanks, they are spyder lock beadlocks. 20x10
Hey Sheldon. I am leaving from Vic tomorrow. Where and when would you like to meet up?
Would the new Shell off the highway before Goldstream work?
Maybe around 8?
I will unfortunately have to sit this one out. Still ironing some kinks out of the build. Should definitely be ready in time for the next one though.
Enjoy and take lots of footage!
Rats! I would like to see that Suzuki of yours! I have a soft spot for imports. Lol
Yes for sure next time!
Cheers
Adrian
Me too haha. I’ll be down for the next one for sure.
How did the run go yesterday?
Made me jealous you guys were out there, so me and the gf did get out for some gravel cruising in the afternoon in the truck.
Did see a few wheelers out Gordon main way.
Some shots from hill 60 and Mt. Sicker on Sunday, dunno if I can upload videos but I'll try
Oh wow a Pacific! Those things are tanks! I had the pleasure of keeping one going at the OSB mill in northern AB that was stretched for a big bunk and a pintle hitch to haul a large trailer. It was ridiculous what it could easily move and through the mud too!
The run was awesome! Good times had by all and no carnage with a good mix for us new to the area to cut our teeth on! Lol.
A big shout out to Lance! He was our guide!
I gave up trying to keep track where we were but went in Hill 60 FSR and came out MT Sicker rd. Lol
I will try and get some picture up too!
I see Nick beat us to it! Lol
I had to take a pic, I'm a little bit of a forestry equipment fanboy, and to see an old Pacific all muddy in it's natural habitat was awesome. Made my truck look puny haha.
Run looks like fun. I do recognize those trails and views, looks like a good mix of difficulty and rigs.
Sad I missed out but I'm glad there was such a good turnout and clearly a good guide
I uploaded all my videos to my very amateur YouTube account (another reason why we need a professional crew), really just a place I store all my videos. Not sure why the quality was compromised a bit but YouTube says it takes some time for the quality to adjust. Got a ton of pictures I'll upload too. Lookin' forward to getting back out there. You can also check out some other videos from random adventures over the last year.

What an awesome day! Nice to meet everyone, and I'm looking forward to the next one. I didn't get many photos, but here's what I got.
Hey nice pics and videos guys. So good to see a Little back to normal activity. Keep it up. So jealous
Here's a few pics from yesterday. I had a blast! We should line up something for next weekend if you guys are keen.
Thanks again for the awesome day.
Cheers!
I'd be keen for another run next weekend 👍
Here are some of my pics. Looking forward to the next one!
Sorry, double posted.
Keep seeing pics of that burned out rig. Just want to mount it.... Is that wrong
