Was a little last minute last weekend. But if anyone wants to get something together on the south island this Saturday, let me know and we can set something up.
I haven't got anywhere particular in mind. I'm gonna look some stuff up, probably going to be around cowichan. If you have any suggestions let me know.
Yeah that's where I've been bumming around a lot lately, I'll probably end up there. I just want to see if there was anything else that's not locked down.
I'd be up to join, don't have much 4x4 exp, and have a stock wrangler. Don't know how crazy of trails you're planning. Also don't have much in terms of gear
Dave, my 1997 Grand Cherokee is stock and has Goodyear Wrangler tires and I've kept up. Bring a spare though. What vehicle do you have? I don't have much experience either but you start somewhere. You should be fine.
So I'm thinking hill 60. If you're interested let me know. Depending on how many people want to come out, we can meet up in Duncan or at Hillcrest road.
I guess Saturday didnt work for anyone on here. I'm free Sunday and Monday and still want to get out. If anyone actually wants to go wheel, let's set this up.
I would rather explore more of hill60 and less Hillcrest. But it it probably easier to meet at Hillcrest, especially if you haven't been to the forest road.
Might be able to swing this one... Where are you thinking?

Is this run Sat or Sun? Title says Sunday but the 3rd is Sat.
Stock shouldnt be a problem, stock tires might be a problem though. And it's on Saturday. I just wrote the wrong day down.
I'll have check when I get off work. But I think they are Goodyear wrangler duratec tires. Can give it a shot.

I'd recommend Skutz Falls area.
Hey moose, I got a 19 wrangler 4 door unlimited. Tires are bridge stone dueler ht 255/70r18 113t
I got a spare on the back.
Hi Brendan. Just out of curiosity what tires are you using? I've got a jk as well and was wondering about upgrading at some point.
Cheers,
Llew
I've got 33" big ko2s. The stock tires i dont think will have any traction in the mud if it ends up raining.
Air them down, makes a big difference

What time were you thinking of meeting/how long are you planning to go out for?
Probably get an early start and meet up around 8:30-9:00, then head out for a few hours maybe till 2pm.

I'm down for giving it a try today.
Where abouts do you want to meet up?
It's a little last minute now. I'm just gonna wait for tomorrow or Monday.
Monday at 10 sounds good man, cya there
I'm in for tomorrow as well, just to confirm, 10am at Hillcrest - correct?
I'll be there at 10 am on Hillcrest.
Yeah 10 tomorrow.
Where about on Hillcrest is the meetup? Don't know Duncan too well
Just turn off the Cowichan highway onto Hillcrest road. You'll see us all there I'm sure.
Sounds good see you all at 10
So meeting at hillcrest then going to hill 60 turnoff. Should we just meet at hill 60 turnoff?.
If we're doing the full loop we could enter at Hillcrest and come out at Hill 60

Play it by ear then! See y'all tomorrow!
