Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. Looking to meet some new people and do some wheeling. Spent my teenage years in Sooke so I know quite a few trails out that way, but now I reside in Shawnigan Lake. Loved riding around Oliphant until they blocked the only access I knew of.
If anybody wants to go out let me know? I have 2001 4runner on 34's with a winch and it's pretty capable. I like riding FSR's to good semi technical trail spots. Not afraid of scratches or small dents just don't want to roll lol I also have a Colorado ZR2 that I like to take out, but I reserve that for trails with less branches and trees.
Looks like there's a wealth of information and good people here I look forward to meeting some of you. Feel free to fire up any convos you want.

Sweet ride, those 4runners can't be stopped. I'm going to be picking up an XJ soon but new to the Nanaimo area. If you're ever up this way you can always drop me a message.

my wheeling partner has a XJ. It's totally stock and is still very capable! I went up to Naniamo lakes fishing about a month ago it looked like there were trails all over the place but most of them were closed due to the fire hazards from the summer I assume. I would Iove to find a way up Mt.Benson or around the base of it in the future. Rightnow I'm just in recognie mode trying to find new places to wheel!
