Hello, I just joined the site and I am planning on driving out to the abandoned power plant in Jordan River and/or the diversion dam on Monday April 30th.
I read some of the other threads to see if I could find out how difficult the terrain is, and if the routes from the highway 14 side would have any gates, but I'm still not 100% sure what to expect.
I've never gone off-road in my pathfinder as I only bought it earlier this month, so if anybody who's been out there before has any information to share it would be greatly appreciated.
The power station is just a 2 minute drive on a dirt road. You just have a little bit of a tight squeeze between some rocks to get in
Is that road easy to find from the diversion dam?
.
These instructions weren’t as in depth as I’d hoped. Here’s a much better one I’ve found. If you have google earth or can access it, this shows the full route.
From where to turn off of from the main road to the dam and even bear creek.

And the google earth gps link:

Richard. Is that you?
Why are you so entitled not to tell. Its not a secret to its location. If you do not want to share simple info and help a fellow off roader out why even come on this site.
Its just childish to think ooowww i know a great spot but i am not going to tell anyone.Because it just might just be you being left outa the loop next good find.
The reason why you won't get directions to trails or hidden cool stuff on here is because when those places get too popular they get shut down or dug up.
I found the jordan river power station by myself. Jordan river is like a 2 km strip. If you go there and can't find it, you're a moron.
