Hi folks, I am pretty much a newby when it comes to 4x4. I am living in Victoria and wanted to hit a trail somewhere up around the Duncan or Shawnigan area. Any suggestions or advice you have would be very much appreciated.

Head to sooke, lots to play on there for all levels of rigs and drivers. usually a group out that way every weekend. just watch some of the local FB pages and you will find a group
Hey and head to duncan to go up hill 60, mt prevost or mount sicker! All have trails that range and get ya somewhere.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have to head out that way on the weekend so may venture up there.

I would definitely recommend the Duncan area. Mt Prevost, Mt Sicker, Hill 60 are all very accessible and have a ton of stuff to explore from mild to wild. My experiences in Spoke have been gates all over
easy to get around all the sooke gates.
Thanks, I hit up Mt Sicker last Sunday and had a great time. Stuck to mainly mild stuff to start with. getting to know how the jeep handles.
