Ok so I'm starting to see a lot of full size trucks on the forum. I have one. 7.5 lift and 35s with a lot of pin stripes. Anyway I usually use it for camping and we find a lot of great spots. Things can get stupid sometimes though but I try not to drag her through the bush as, it's a full size pick up which was designed for towing, not crawling.
That being said I'm willing to bring some other full sizers out for exploring and camping. You must understand though that being full sized, you may not be able to make the "go around" unless you have a way older truck. I had a 90 Blazer when I lived on the mainland and started with a jeep when I was 16. These are great because you don't care if it makes it out in one piece. At this point, besides a few, pin stripes and dints, I've done well. Well, besides replacing a few ball joints and an axle seal. Perhaps a leaf or too lol
Might do a little scouting today later. Perhaps next week we could organize a trip from Shawnigan to Gordon river. There's a plane crash site there. Real basic run with a chance of washouts and stuff for fun. You know "full size" fun. let me know if your interested cause it's not "bush bashing".

Full Size runs
I would totally be in for that. I'm in Brentwwod bay, but would come out for sure. Let me know of where and when to meet. I got no winch tho
Ok sounds good! You won't need a winch so, no worries. Real basic run like I was saying. Just to see the plane crash site and some of the area possibly. I'll give you more details on meet up times closer to the end of the week. Thinking Saturday mid morning so far though.
Cheers
Nathan
Cool sounds fun
Just waiting on a buddy who wants to ride along. So far I'm thinking Mill bay, behind Serious Coffee at either 11 or 12 but I know more by tomorrow.
K I'm in. Coming from Brentwood/Sidney area so need about an hour or 2 notice. Can b there by 10am if told by 8am as an example. So 11 or 12 is good for me. I'll b checking for posts
Ok so let's meet in Mill Bay around 10:30 behind the Serious Coffee. I would bring, half decent shoes and some food. Seeing how it's going to be warm I'm going to make use of a few lakes too. It's going to be tons of fun. Real easy stuff, like I said, but there's always a chance of stupidity along the way. All are welcome.
I'm in....c u there
Really fun day, can't wait to get out again. Thx for the invite
No prob. Nothing to crazy, besides a ripped off step bar and a few more war wounds on the paint huh. Well, I'm feeling great after being out. Thanks for coming out guys!! I'll let you know when we plan another camping trip. I think we are heading up to the lake again soon.
Cheers
Nate
I know this thread is old, but are you still doing full-size trips
