Hi guys, I've been thinking of taking off and doing some camping this weekend out along Renfrew Road. I know back in August the road was gated I'm assuming because of the campfire ban. Now that the ban has been lifted I'm wondering if the road has been opened. Anyone know? Thanks! :-)
Here's a map, Point B is the approximate location of the gate that was closed in Aug. - https://www.google.ca/maps?saddr=Renfrew+Rd&daddr=Shawnigan+Rd&hl=en&ll=...
Hey did you end up doing this? Was the road open?
Didn't go. My buddy ended up having family visit from out of town. Maybe try next weekend
I did some camping there about 3 weeks ago and it was great, we got about 60k deep before finding an awesome camping spot. Went back this past weekend and the gate was locked. Pretty let down
thats the fleet main gate. Its the crossover and pops out at lens which is the left turn at the gravel pit on the circle route. Gates are usually closed

So I guess I just got lucky the first time, is there another way in or is it best to stay out? It was my first time I had no idea how many roads and trails were back there
