Hey, so I'm totally new to 4x4 and this site, I just picked up a 1996 Mitsubishi Challenger, and was hoping to take it off-roading with my girl tomorrow just for a small day trip,
We Will be in Nanaimo and I have no idea about the trails out there?

Nice truck dude, and welcome to the forum :) Nanaimo does have some spots, unfortunately I don't know them much, but you should consider picking up a copy of the backroads mapbook!

What kind of off roading you do depends on how much you like your truck.
Lots of trails in Nanaimo. Unfortunatly never been to any of them as of yet. Im located on south end of the island. If you are ever down this way I can show you few cool trails.

Mild to whatever in the hill 60 area, bout 50 minutes or so from Victoria.
So far, as I'm new here too, is the Duncan area hill sixty region etc.
Yea it's a pretty decent area, not too far from town!
