Hey, I'm new to the off road forum / 4x4 world, I've been browsing through the posts for somewhere to go next weekend.
I want to find a lake or something similar to the quarry (but less busy) to hang out at for the day. What would be a good 'quarry type' place??
Nothing too extreme/hard to get to.
Also, here's a pic from the weekend. My first time off roading :)
that looks like my buddy nicks blue toyota! most all back woods lakes are blocked off with fire danger being so high. oliphant lake is good so is wild dear but both you will have to get around gates, i suspect lizard and fairy lakes in renny are probably packed every weekend.
Possibly, Derek owned it previously but I don't think he had it for very long.
Okay, thanks! were going to check out fairy lake tomorrow then head to Parksville area.
