Sorry to be so dumb, but I don't quite understand what 33"s are? I'm from the UK and only know the 235/75 etc sizing. I guess they're 33" diameter, but what about the width?

You'll need spacers or new wheels with more offset/back spacing to push the wheels out and allow you to run wide tires. Personally I suggest spending a few more bucks than spacers and getting some new steel wheels so you can get exactly what you want for width without the worries of spaces. Got my new 15's from westshore spring for 68$ a piece fwiw
I'm looking to do the same with an '02 Pathfinder on stock 16 rims. Looking to get the BFG A/T K02 in 265/70/R16.
Anyone know if these will fit without rubbing?
31s is pretty much the biggest you can go up front on pathfinder due to shitty strut set up. Tires hit the spring perch. You need a lot of offset to clear and run bigger tires.
From another post it appears that the 265/70/16 is a 31, so that should be ok on a stock 16" rim with no lift?
Also, I'm considering the BFG A/T K02 or the Nitto Terra Grappler. I've had a great luck with the BFGs for their quiet ride, traction (soft rubber), and even longevity (thick carcass) on SUVs, but not so much heavy trucks. And they're very decent in most off road situations. But now I'm hearing the BFG's aren't that great in the rain/ice. It may have something to do with their tread pattern. I'm wondering if anyone's tried the Nitto Terra Grappler. It seems like the tread pattern might be better suited to wet wear because of the greater continuity in the vertical grooves.
Ya I run 33s on 15" rims...I know others running 35s on 15" rims you can go alot bigger.

285/75R15 is about a 32" tire
Sorry Jerang, you're tire size is a metric measurement which equals approx. 29" x 9.5" x 15"
