Hey guys, long time lurker and new member here. I finally got myself a ride a few months ago as an exploring/camping rig. She's an LJ cruiser with a 3B swap. Still learning all about diesels as my background is in tuner cars.
Seems like this weekend is going to be gorgeous here in Nanaimo - was wondering if anyone would be willing to show a newbie some fun beginner/int trails?
I don't have a winch or lockers yet and the truck is my daily, so it'll have to be baby stuff. They're on the to do list as soon as I can save some dough.
Here's a pic of the rig - she spits a bit of oil, but don't all diesels? Planning on putting an OCC in to reduce the mess a bit when I have some time.

Awesome, Duncan's not too far but I'd like to find some trails closer to Nanaimo. Don't really care though, just wanna go play in some mud. Where would a good half way point be?

Hey LJ783BT Nanaimo is my stomping grounds and I could take you out and show you around a little. Typically I like doing moderate / difficult runs but I know a lot of local easy/moderate trails we could spend days on.
We are going to do some pretty easy stuff on Sunday, if you're interested let me know and I'll PM you the details.

one day here, I just need to cut off the brake backing plate and re torque the passenger side wheel bearring. othere wise shes been riding real nice!
Would love to tag along on an easy trail ride one of these days. Honestly all I have is a 2wd Blazer right now but ude be surprised how that thing rallys. I take it up Dumont on my own or with my wife and kids all the time but ide love to go driving with a few others Once in a while and this is all I got til I get in a 4x4. Also I totally understand if ide drag the group down in which case i'll just wait to get in something more bush worthy.
