Well going to get a 4.5 lift for my 91 xj. The lift I am looking at is a zone 4.5 lift with full leafs. Would love some input good bad ugly. What ever ya got. And would love to on if anyone has had this lift kit or at least this brand. And how was it

I run a 4.5 Zone lift, I don't have the kit leaf springs (I have a bastard pack) but I have absolutely no issues with mine. The ride is great and the flex is good as well. It's a good kit that comes with the TC drop spacers included, which is good if you don't have the money for SYE and new driveshaft ($500.00). Honestly you may not even need it though, like I said I'm sitting on the same lift and have zero driveline vibration, so I had no need to install a TC drop. The shocks are...well they're $56.00 a piece if bought separately and eventually you'll want to upgrade those. This kit IMO is best bang for the buck, you won't find better for cheaper. I'm not sure how familiar you are with lifting vehicles, but your going to need an adjustable track bar (Approx $260.00) or you'll have to drill another hole In the trac bar mount bracket (Axle side). People will tell you that a new adjustable trac bar is the way to go and they are right, but re-drilling the mount is also effective (That's how I have mine)

Not to familiar with lifts. This will be my first one. Got the Jeep for dirt cheap. And thought might as well lift. Any way u could send me a pic of where u drilled for the track bar?

I have a limited slip in the rear and yes I'm locked in the front. I figured it was a waste of money locking a D35 when the LSD is somewhat just as useful. Locking a D35 you're probably asking for trouble. The XJ's weak point is definitely the turdy 5. Locking the front was an easy decision as most times I find it easier to be pulled through an obstacle than it is to be pushed through one. Not being a heavy footed wheeler and only running 32's I'm not overly concerned about grenading the D30.

K. Sounds good. If I end up gernading a diff I will just beef it up. I figure I will wait till parts break or wear out then replace with heavier parts.
