Hi Everyone,

Got an 89 Toyota PU this summer and have been slowly getting it ready to hit the trails. On a 4 and 2 schedule at work so I try to get at least one or two fixes/improvements done each time out.
Looking forward to getting out and meeting other members and learning some new trails.

Welcome Hillbilly, the sites been a little quiet over the past month or so but a lot of us are fixing our rigs from the summer months. Keep checking back as most of us post up a time and date when we go out. Again welcome to the site.

Thanks. I'll be sure to keep an eye out to any new posts. Don't go back to work until January so I'd like to get some wheelin in before then. Tomorrow's mission will be to install my locker (early Christmas present to myself) that finally arrived today.

Looks like a Spartan lunch box locker. I just installed one myself into my front diff and I absolutely love it. I was told they were noisy but I've only heard mine clunk 3-4 times. Well worth it.
I'm also waiting on a new rim for the jeep, I wasn't able to find one locally so I had to order one....Mid January delivery date....WTF!!!
This gives me some time to get some other things done I guess, New exhaust tomorrow, CB radio is installed just need to mount the antenna, hopefully mount the winch this next week and then finish welding the bumper around it. Once my rim shows up I'll be ready to hit the trails again.

Close, it's a LockRight but by the looks of it the spartan are pretty much the same thing. It's going in the rear diff tonight, just have to get the kids in bed then I can finally get to finishing the install.

Lemme know when you're all ready to wheel again in January and we'll hit the trails.
