Monday the 30th or Tuesday the 1st there will be a few of us going out to do Rock Bottom trail.....If anyone is interested in joining us I'll post back Sunday for day and meeting time / place.
Not a stock friendly trail but winch / lockers not required, just a little driving skill.
Expect some possible tree sex and 1 or 2 butt pucker moments.

This might turn into a trail bashing trip or exploring, scouts say they've dug up the entrance to Rock bottom (At least the only way I know in) it also sounds like they've done some excavating in the extension area.

I went on rockbottom last weekend from the top end, and ran a new connector trail that would require winch. I have my trusty chainsaw and love exploring new routes. If interested in opening an old road and see where it goes, I have an idea
Definitely interested, I'll have my saw with me as well....Just waiting to hear from Welshy on what day he has off, that's going to determine Monday or Tuesday.
Unfortunately at this time Welshy is the only one of the 3 Jeeps going that has a winch. We both did Rock Bottom a couple weeks back and had no issues, didn't have to pull any cable, we went in the bottom and went up but the trail before the gate has been dug up, I'm pretty sure there are many other ways we could find to get in, but I'm always game for opening up old roads.
I'll check back tomorrow or Sunday once I hear from Welshy and let you know what day.

Im in for Tuesday….
Been out the last few evenings just messing around... and the excavator has been busy… at least on the real obvious close to town trails…but with a couple of guys and 10 mins of digging they are all still drivable… its like the guy is a wheeler too and didn't try too hard to keep us out!

It doesn't matter to me what time we meet, if Welshy posts back that he can make it earlier then I don't mind starting early, otherwise I guess we keep the posted time.

Well im that guy commenting on a post from 10 years ago but I recently came across this trail and spent some hours clearing it with a few buddies. Not sure if you guys ever made it to that lake but our goal is to cut it all the way there!
