Damn, it’s been a long time. Been off the online radar for quite a while now, so much has happened around this site! Nice to see Shane still running the place and keeping it alive and well. Since my last post quite a lot has gone down. The old black Tracker is no more :( Still have her, she's just slowly being torn down for spare parts and rusting away.
I actually ended up going another route. Bought a second, mint condition little yellow bugger and started putting all my work into her. She’s been through every phase of lift now, from little spacers, to Cherokee coils and janky angles, and now runs on a full leaf spring SAS setup. A slow work in progress, figuring out little shit and annoying noises takes up most of my time these days. But I have a few plans in the works. For now she wheels better then I ever could have expected out of a Trackick platform.
It’s nice to be back on the site! I’ll try to stick around this time 🖕😁🖕
No, they're fairly simple to work on, there's really not much to them. The problem I always run into is limited aftermarket support. Most parts are custom fab jobs through smaller companies, and they like to charge $$. Unless you can fabricate yourself your options can be pretty restricted. That's why most guys I know with trackers just hack them up and bash them stock
Looks dope! Long way from the old 97 you used to run. I’m super jealous of that trailer
