Awesome footage Cam. I had always wanted to see northern Ontario before I left. Looks like a really great trip. My wife always says off-roading would be so different if she drove, did Corinne feel the same way?
I just did the drive from Calgary (through Banff, Jasper Lake Louise, backside of Whistler) and it was epic. Looked tempting to sidetrack off-road but wasn't possible with timing. I hope you get to make the most of it.
I think some people will have a better idea but at some point snow on the backroads may become an issue out here? Not sure when.
Either way, great footage, look forward to seeing more!
Hey man, I went up Canada Day last year and it wasn't busy. This year though, anything could happen haha. The water is beautiful though and there are a decent amount of sites at Words, not all waterfront though. No off-roading required to get in either.
The good news is there's tons of lakes and rec sites around the area that are also really nice. Vernon, Schoen, or Tahsis, Zeballos, you can't go wrong up there.
Definitely an area I'd like to explore more of, let us know what you find!
You guys could do Skutz Falls again, but take the bypass around the descent of the mountain! Haha! :)

This was an awesome day, a little crazy with that grown in trail but great views all around and that side of Rowbotham was really nice too.

Hey Justin, it's right after the highway goes down to one lane as you get closer to Lake Cowichan. It's got a brown sign there in the trees.
Have a good time everyone.
And for the record, you can wheel year round out here, just be prepared for a little more mud than usual!
