For what it's worth I got KO2s and i love them. Granted i don't have a lot to compare them to, but the stuff they've pulled me through so far makes me feel invincible sometimes. Can't argue with the price either!

My feeling is that people who take matters into their own hands, ie. bypassing gates or cutting locks, may achieve their short term goal of gaining access for the day, but the long term results are most likely going to be loss of credibility and sympathy for their cause and more secure countermeasures. Whether or not we agree with the legitimacy of their right to keep us out, the fact remains that they currently have it and any path that leads to a place where we have free and lawful access is a lot smoother if we look like respectful and responsible people.

I just paid half as much as I would have at Lordco on my fuel filter and intake gaskets thanks to this thread. x3 Rockauto

I'm just about to pull the injectors on my ranger for the same issue. It's probably either a leaking injector or the one-way valve in the tank. If you turn it off and let it sit for a few minutes and then start it again, does it run rough at first? Does your engine oil smell of gas at all? These are signs of leaking injectors. If you pull them out you can try putting compressed air at a suitable pressure into the fuel rail end and stick the other end into a cup of water and look for bubbles to see if they are leaking.

When you replaced the pump was it the whole assembly or just the actual pump? On my truck the one-way valve is part of the pump assembly but it is possible to replace just the pump and therefore not solve the problem.

Thanks for the links! I'm going to have to sift through that stuff and see what I want to add to my saved channels. The radio is a Baofeng UV-5R and I got a programming cable and used Chirp to load all the channels people suggested. I actually got a pair of them and was able to try them out a bit this weekend while camping. We were able to get to about 5km away and still have passable communications on UHF despite the geographic disadvantages of our base camp, so I'm pretty happy with that. I tried scanning the VHF frequencies listed above for a while but the only ones I caught traffic on were the weather channels. We were surrounded on 3 sides by 150ish foot rock walls though, so not the best place for radio reception. I got a mag mount 19 inch antenna to use but wasn't able to try it as the adapter hasn't shown up yet. As they are out of the box though they're more than adequate for talking between vehicles out on a trail run or keeping in touch while hiking about near camp.
