Ya that little lake was the goal, it took a lot of work to get up that old road, clearing and weaving through the trees, and had a few good obstacles, we just ran out of time. It has been used by quads over the years, but not very often, lots of windfall that had been opened to width of a quad. There is some pics in the other post "Monday/Tuesday". It will be nice to complete this trail as it will eventually create a loop trail, some of the lines that look like roads are old skid trails too.
The ridgeline to the west is Blackjack ridge and is mostly logged off and yes there is some great views from there
I have to split at 3 so you guys wanna head out earlier, not a big deal if you want to keep that time?? I would just meet you off the pavement on N. Lakes road
