Thanks, I just got my rig built at Westshore Spring And 4X4 and just learning the rig again and super happy with it so far. Hoping to head up that way again next Sunday for some fun. Went up Hill 60 and it was so dry, but the trails down in the valley seemed good so I'll be sticking to the lower trails for the rest of the summer. If anyone wants to come out exploring, I'd like to meet some more people in the wheeling community and look forward to spending more time out that way.
I was just out and found a trail that runs between Hill 60 and Mt Prevost, wondering if anyone on this thread had done that run? Pretty narrow and also wondering if the trail was just for quads? My Blazer was doing well but we ran out of time and had to turn back, any info on that area would be appreciated. I'm guessing once we reach Prevost that we will run into a gate on that side so probably have to backtrack out of there.
I'd be up for going out that way some evening soon. Have to take it easy while I'm still breaking in my new rig, but it's built to go anywhere. Looking to get out more.
I'm wanting to do some evening runs, breaking in my rig so I have to take it easy, if you want to head to Jorden River leaving Sooke around 5:00 some time let me know
I've been following that thread for a while lol, looks like fun, I've done Mt Benson a few times and tackled the tank traps a few years ago. I would like to meet up, I'm going from stock with 31" KM 2's to fully locked, straight axels, 37" Maxxis Trepidor radials and on board air. Huge build and to meany upgrades to list, but it will be ready for almost any trail and plan and spending lots of time up that way. Sundays are a good day for me and I'll get a hold of you soon, should get it back within 2 weeks, it will be a 2 month build for the professionals at West Shore Spring and 4X4. Been talking to them lots and it's going to be awesome on, and off the road.
