Well I've had some time off work, the family and I went camping last week and this weekend decided to finish up a project I started awhile back.
I started with a sheet of 10g and used my 4" grinder to shape them.
They got primer on them tonight, paint tomorrow.

I don't know that area very well, I've done some trails in the area but couldn't tell you how to get there.
Trails I know that you could inquire about with locals.

Fuct my mirror <---- Pretty tame, tight trail
Hill 60 <----Couple gnarly sections, should have a locker and winch
Cows pass <---- Pretty tame, tight trail
Broken gear <---- Pretty tame, tight trail
Goat trail <----this trail has a really gnarly section, be prepared to go through obstacles on 3 wheels.

That's about as much info as I can supply, only because I don't know the area.

I hate to be "That guy" but I'm going to be.

you shouldn't be in the bush right now, its way too hot and dry.

It can be as simple as a rock rolling down a hill that can cause a fire, you wouldn't even know it happened.

Ya after the B.S some of the offroading "clubs" caused down there, the owner was forced to lock it down.
You are still allowed in there but only if you hike in, ride a horse in, or ride your bike in.

Doesn't look like your rig is very road friendly, but if you ever want to come and do some trails in the Nanaimo area shoot me a PM.
I'm out almost every Sunday but will be down until its not so hot and dry out.

I can keep you busy from morning until well past dark.
If you check out my thread B&M's XJ fun you can see the sort of shit I like to do.

Shoot me a PM if you're ever interested.
