yea baofeng, i have the UV5RE , very good, usually comes with accessories, not too bad to program
ive taken the shortcut from the main road, pretty short and fun too, still end up on a water section though , but yea definitely worth a look
that could be an option. If I remember well theres alot of open space in that area near Francis lake, could always just make a big camp group site there too. see picture

yea fair enough , unless shes a small dog then yea that would suck lol! Trailer RTT is a nice option, especially for the option of disconnecting to still use your rig, should get an xventure trailer :P
